SAN DIEGO
HOW WE ROAMED AROUND
The trail is steep but not too hard. How ever, while avoiding snake holes we enjoyed the view
Kid waiting for his mom to hurry so he can run in front of her again.
Famous Rock to climb on, take a photo and enjoy the view! Aaand down the hill, it's time to go back!

It is a floating city. The model of this ship as well as the one they are building right now makes you wonder what does it take to build something like that...how much knowledge, patience, resources and teamwork...and yet sometimes I'm too lazy to wash dishes. I felt embarrassed and thrilled at the same time.

5. USS Midway Museum
I thought it will be a slow day for me but very interesting one for Jasen - we were about to visit famous aircraft carrier, the America's longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, from 1945 to 1992. It is now a museum in San Diego, the birthplace of naval aviation and the original home of the Navy's "Topgun" fighter school! As we were buying tickets and chating with this fine gentleman who was at the till, Jasen mentioned his millitary service in Croatia and after brief questioning about his status in the army he gave us a big discount and a "God bless you". We knew bits and pieces about this aircraft carrier but by the end of our tour I was so ready to dig up my old university history books and study some more on this subject. It was once in a life time experience.
6. More to discover
Libraries, Coronado Island, Seaport Village, bunch of great restaurants...we where around and about a lot! Thanks to our friends who took us around, as well as thank them for being busy at certain times so we got to explore by ourselves, we had enough time to fall in love with the city, hoping to come back some day soon!
P.S. We'll have to because I haven't seen the whales and that is on my wish list for the longest time!
4. Mount Woodson Trail
It was sunny Sunday, Jasen and Mike decided to go and play paintball at camp Pendleton, which is located within the Marine corps base. To raise the level of coolnes, they played that thay with some paintball and not paintball celebrities. Sarah and I decided to go hiking so she took me to Mount Woodson Trail that goes above the Poway Lake. It is also known for its Potato chips looking rocks. It is moderate trail, long about 7,5 miles and it took us aprox. 4,5 hours. It has amazing views, and it was great way to spend a day and to focus on breathing, steps, details around us and nice conversations.
I hope I will have chance to come back again as well to go and explore other hiking trails. What a way to spend a day in California! I was so pumped about it. I'm sure Jasen felt the same way about playing paintball in such famous place.
On our way to the market in the morning
Beautiful sunset around 5 pm...time to put on light jacket cause it is around 13 Celsius...not that I'm complaining it was cold :)
