Have you ever wondered about places that are waiting to be revealed to you by someone? That are to be discovered during an accidental chat you had while in line, waiting for your coffee? Descriptions that makes you say "ha....never knew this place existed!" The city I was born and raised in is one of those places. It has a secret nickname: "Earth's bellybutton". It has a long, vivid history thanks to its strategic placement on the Adriatic coast.  Not even 300 km driving distance from famous Venice, or even less to our capital city Zagreb, Pula is popular for its cultural scene; film, theater and music festivals, mostly during the summer season.
